The short version: your play stays in your browser, the leaderboard is anonymous, and the only thing we ever ask for is an email address — for launch news, or to sign in so your progress follows you to another device. Nothing else.

Playing the games

Every puzzle runs in your browser. Your scores, streaks, settings, and coins are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device. We cannot see them, and clearing your browser data clears them.

There are no accounts. You never need to sign up, log in, or tell us who you are to play anything here.

Leaderboards

Some games can submit your daily result to a shared leaderboard. When one does, we store:

No name is attached to any of it, and no email either — unless you choose to make an account, below. This data lives in our database, hosted by Supabase. If you never submit a score, none of it exists.

Accounts, if you want one

You never need an account. Every game, every daily, and the leaderboard all work without one, and always will.

An account exists for one reason: your progress currently lives in this browser, so clearing your site data or moving to a new phone loses it. Giving us an email address lets us hand it back.

If you make one we store your email address and the anonymous id it belongs to, plus when the account was made and when it last signed in. To sign in we email you a six-digit code, good for fifteen minutes; we keep only a one-way hash of that code, so even we cannot read it, and it is deleted the moment it is used. We also keep a one-way hash of a random secret for each device you sign in on, which is what lets your phone and your laptop both be you.

There is no password, because a password would be the most sensitive thing we hold and one more thing you could lose.

An account address is not added to the launch-news list. Those are separate, and signing in never signs you up.

To delete an account and everything attached to it, email [email protected] from the address you used.

The email list

If you give us your email address, we use it for one thing: news about our game launches and the puzzles. We store it, along with the signup time and your browser's user-agent string (which helps us spot spam signups), with our infrastructure providers, Cloudflare and Supabase. We never sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing.

To be taken off the list, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and we will remove it.

Measurement

We count plays in anonymous aggregate: which game, which mode, which day, won or lost, and how many. Nothing finer than the day is kept, and no IP address, user-agent, or client id is stored with it. There are no advertising identifiers and no cross-site tracking. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we honor it and record nothing at all.

Ads and cookies

Any promo you see here is for our own games. There are no ad networks and no third-party tracking scripts on this site, which is also why there is no cookie banner: we set no tracking cookies, so there is nothing to consent to.

Changes and contact

If any of the above changes, this page changes first, with a new effective date. Questions go to [email protected].
